Afternoon All
Hope you are all having a wonderful long bank holiday weekend. Mine has had a few ups and downs I could not go crafting with Rachel yesterday as my fibromyalgia hit me big time late on Friday afternoon which I why I have had no cards to show. Sarah bless her went to the shop for me with a list as long as her arm as we had run the freezer down wanting to clean it out before refilling so off she went and £183.00 later the freezer is still not full but we have made a start. She then came home and sorted dinner out for us all. She is such a good girl (woman) 35 years old but still my baby.
Then today Alan and Sarah set to and cleaned the bungalow right through, even cleaning the windows and Sarah sorted the washing, they then went out to the garden and did some weeding and believe me it needed it. Alan took Bella out for a run and Sarah prepared the veg for dinner tonight. Think we are having a chicken roast am not sure as I am not allowed anywhere near the kitchen.
So I thought I would sit and make a card as my neighbour has asked me to make a birthday card for her great grandson Connor who is 12 whilst we are away on holiday, so this is what I came up with. I used a LOTV pre coloured image and an old Sketch Saturday layout, I have just noticed I spelt his name wrong so will have to change that lol.
I have some more cards that I need to make but will do them over the next week or so. I need to sort out a birthday card for my neighbour who will be 89 on Friday bless her. I was talking to her earlier on today and she said her granddaughters partner Tim charges her £10.00 when he takes flowers to the church for her brothers grave and also if he walks into the village to get her pension or goes to Tesco's for her which I think is disgusting and have told her that one of us will go for her in future not to ask Tim again. So Alan and Sarah cut her rose bush back and did a bit of tidying around the back for her we don't have gardens as such will take a photo and show you what I mean
As you can see we don't have a lot of garden more a wall with some soil in it. We do have a small courtyard garden before the wall but our flowers are raised so that we don't have to bend down to weed or anything.
The above photos are of my little area which is what Alan and Sarah weeded today.
Well am off to try and sort out a birthday card for Phyl so will catch you all later.
Love Alison
