Without words October Challenge

Hi all

Unusual for me but here is my second post of the day I wanted to enter this into the Without Words October Challenge blog and the challenge is pumpkin Orange, Brown and Green colours.  I have used a house mouse image from the house mouse triple CD collection and backing papers from CD and First Edition Desert Blooms paper pad, ribbon and bling from stash.

Kept this card fairly simple, not followed any sketch but just what felt right for the card and image.  Well am off to cook dinner just now Meatballs in a Chilli Sauce with Spaghetti.

Love to all

Anything Goes Bestie's Challenge

Hi Everybody

Its raining here on Dartmoor wanted to get some bedding out on the line again today, as I bought a new quilt cover etc yesterday and washed it last night and now need to dry it and as its  a kingsize lord knows where I am going to put it - No rude comments please.

For today's card I have used the Joanna Sheen sketch but am entering this card is the Besties Challenge Blog anything goes.

I used some of the flowers on this card that the beautiful Natalie sent me as part of her blog candy again I used a Sherri Baldy Bestie image coloured her in with my prismacolor pencils and a wink of stella to add some sparkle.  Used First Edition Silent Night papers, Magnolia Doohickey Fairy Castle die, doily and gems came from stash as did the little bow.  I tried to distress the papers and as this is the first attempt at this with a pair of scissors no less think it turned out ok.  Sentiment was computer generated.  This card is for my granddaughters birthday she will be 22 in November where has the time gone.

Well am off to get some lunch ready and then I must wrap some soap up for a craft party I am doing selling my soap and candles.  I will be by later to do some blog hopping.

Love to all

Sunny Sunday

Hi all

Hope you are enjoying this lovely weather we are having at the moment, it's forecast to rain here tomorrow so am going to enjoy the day with hubby and youngest daughter.

Alan and Sarah have hovered through, changed the beds, washing on line and as soon as Alan is back from taking Bella for a walk we are off out, not sure where yet has to be dog friendly.

I can now show you a card I made for the lovely Natalie as its her birthday today.  So have a great day Natalie and once again thank you for the blog candy some of which I will be making up a card with later.

For this card I used a lovely peach colour and the die is a tonic studio one which I bought in Exeter last week the sentiment is hand written so excuse the writing as after doing shorthand for many years my handwriting is awful.

Flowers are from the Ribbon Girl, leaves are from a punch I bought many years ago not sure when or where.  bling from stash.  Image is one that Natalie herself sent to me and as use these sparingly as I love Tilda and have not got many of the stamps yet.

Well am off to do a bit of hair straightening as I have just washed and dried my hair and look like a fuzz ball lol.

Will be back a bit later to do some blog hopping probably from my ipad whilst sitting in the living room with my feet up.

Love to all

Challenge Wings and Things on Sherri Baldy's blog

Hi All

How are you all, my Fibromyalgia has got me in its grips and is not letting go, am really down in the dumps today with aches all over, feel as though all my energy has drained away and just finding everything a chore.

I have another Sherri Baldy's Bestie  today to showcase and am entering the competition she is running on her blog, I love these cute images and thanks to Aussie Annie as her cards were the first time I had seen these images being used, they are soooo cute.

I decided to go with a Christmas Image as I could not resist buying this one.

Papers used are from my craft stash, snowflake is a memory box die, holly and poinsettia are Marianne dies, sentiment was computer generated.  I have used a wink of clear stella on her hat and wings just to add a sparkle not sure you can see it on the picture.

Excuse my typing cut my finger this morning and have plaster on it so I keep pressing the wrong keys when typing that's my excuse anyway.

Well am off just now need to sort a few things out and then I am going back to bed.  Will do my blog hopping from there as I want to be able to go to Rachel's house tomorrow for some crafting.

Loads of love and hugs

Not too good today

Helloooo everybody

Have you had heavy rain and thunder we have its been dismal all day starting to clear a bit now but my it poured.

I am not too good again today my Fibromyalgia has flared up aching everywhere and feeling very tired.  But enough moaning there are people worse off than me so on that note.

Hubby rang me yesterday and asked me to make a card for everyone at work to sign for one of their colleagues whose wife had just had a baby boy so I just had to go with this cute image and an 8x8 card

I used my card stash for backing card and papers ( not sure what these papers are called no longer in packet just loose) the beads were from stash found the image LeeHIllustrations on Etsy .   and I think it is gorgeous could not resist buying him/her as not coloured.

the ribbon die is I think a memory box one not sure as I have taken all my dies out of packaging and put them onto magnetic sheets.  The little resin shoes I have had since I first started crafting and can no longer remember where I got them from although I have just bought a mould to make my own as I am running out of the ones I have.

Anyway am off to do a bit of blog hopping before my lot come home from work, Jacket Spud for tea tonight not sure yet what I will serve with them will have to look see what I have.

Lots of hugs

Cutie Pie Challenge #54

Morning my fellow bloggers, how are you all?  It is very damp here (pouring really) I have been to my Wednesday morning Coffee Stop which I go to every week if I can.

Sorry didn't post yesterday but I was shattered and just rested up for the day.  Sarah has asked me to make a card for her really good friend Carole Anne they have known each other for years and have over the years had a lot of fun together and their birthdays are only 3 days apart so you can imagine what they get up to. Usually celebrating for around a week.

I am entering this card in the Cutie Pie Challenge number 54 never entered this challenge before but decided I would use a Sherri Baldy Bestie, Carole Anne's favourite colour is red so here she is all dressed up ready for the party.

Well my dears am off to get some lunch, need to nip the shop and then I will be back to blog hop

Keep dry.
Love Alison xx
