So Naughty

Morning All

Beautiful day here in Sunny Devon am going to pop some washing out as soon as I have done this.  I apologise for not commenting on anybody's beautiful creations but both Alan and I have been really poorly with chest infections really took us both off our feet at the same time but things are nearly back to normal now thank goodness.

I went over to my crafty friend Rachel's on Saturday for a play afternoon and had a wonderful time creating some cards managed to get a few made and then finished them off at home.

I also wanted to say that over at Our Crafty Corner you will still be able to enter the challenge of anything goes so why not pop along and have a go.

So without further ado here is what I made over at Rachel's on Saturday and then decorated when I got home.

Crafters Companion House Template

Used a Martha Stewart punch for the tiles
Used sparkly pens from Crafter's Companion on the Chimney and make it patchy

Jayne Netley Mayhew CD and starfish from stock

Again the Jayne Netley Mayhew CD and die's borrowed from Rachel

Another Jayne Netley Mayhew image from CD

Mo Manning image  used papers and card from the Hobby House which I have had sitting in my craft room for yonks waiting for me to do something with so I decided I was going to try and de-stash my room by using most of the stuff it in before buying anymore ..... do you believe me lol x

And finally but not least card made for a friend who is going to be 80 on Sunday and as she loves a good cuppa thought this would be ideal for her, and this is from the Downton Abbey Collection from Crafters Companion.

Well I am off to put the washing out on the line and get showered and dressed before I shame myself and still be undressed at 11.am. We have a knitting group here in the village and I am the key holder for the community rooms so best get my self organised as I have to get the room ready for 1.30.

Hope everybody is keeping well.  I will catch up with you all later today as I am going to get my laptop out and sit in the living room with my feet up and a lovely cuppa by my side and do some long awaited commenting.

Bye for now

love Alison

Sorry, Sorry, Sorry and a new challenge

Dear All

I am so sorry for not doing any commenting on your wonderful creations but both Alan and I have been really unwell with chest infections.  Alan has gone back to work today but he is not ready really but you know what men are they think they know best.

This is my first day up and my chest is still wheezing and talking to me when I breathe in and out.

Anyway enough of that I will pop along to your blogs later to check out your lovely stuff.

Today is the start of a New Challenge over at Our Crafty Corner and there have been some changes so why not pop along and check them out.

Our sponsor today is the lovely ppinky dolls and they have some cute designs if you don't know them they are on Etsy and if you click on the link above you will be taken straight to the site.

The theme on the challenge is the same anything goes so please do try and enter as you never know you might be one of our winners.

So here is my card, do hope you like it.

Am off to the garage just now to pick Sarah up as she has put her car in for an MOT not sure what we are doing for the rest of the morning but I have the knit and natter group this afternoon and as I am the only one with the key for the Community Rooms I really must go even though I don't want to.

I will pop by your lovely blogs later on today when everything has quietened down and I can concentrate without interruptions.

Lot of love to all

More Male Cards

Afternoon all

I have a couple of new cards to showcase today all male related as Sarah has requested a few more, sales must be going well.

Hope you are not getting blown about too much in the wind, we have had heavy rain here as well but it seems to have stopped for 5 minutes.

It is my Birthday tomorrow and our eldest daughter Pauline brought me over a card for my birthday as well as one for Mothers day as she will be going away for the weekend and this is what else she bought me and yes they taste as good as they look which is not helping my diet lol xx

Here are the cards I have made

Hope you like them.  I am just off to take Bella out for her walk not saying that word out loud as she will know what is happening and do her happy dance whilst I am trying to put her lead on lol.  But I will be back to comment on your lovely posts as soon as I have warmed up afterwards.

Im Entering a Challenge'

Morning All

I am actually going to enter a challenge today over at Cardz4guyz and the theme is Birds of a Feather well as you know from my earlier post I am trying to make some male cards for my daughter who takes them into work to sell them.

I have used card stock from stash, image from Jayne Netley Mayhew's CD and Hot off the Press feather stamp and die along with some other die cuts of shells can't for the life of me remember where they are from but I think they may be Marianne's.

Do so love puffins

My second card is also a male card and this is from Crafter's Companion Destinations CD and the little Merecats are from Joanna Sheen they are so cute hope you like it.

Well that's it for now

Catch up with everybody later, I am at Sarah's in the morning as she has the man coming to check her fire alarms and she will be at work when they are due so I said I would go over and spend the day looking out over Plymouth Sound

Our darling daughter Sarah takes the cards I make into work with her to sell all year round which is brilliant and she sells quite a few.  She asked for some male cards as she was running low and this is what I have come up with when having a lovely day with my crafty mate Rachel on Saturday afternoon what do you reckon.

New Great Granddaugher

Hi all sorry I have not posted for a little while again but I do have a really good excuse.  At the grand old age of 58 I have become a Great Nan it all happened rather quickly as our eldest granddaughter Nicole was rushed into hospital last week as she had problems with blood pressure and serious swelling of her body so she was started off and gave birth to our little bundle of joy on the 9th February.

We were hoping for the 8th of Feb as that was our anniversary having been married now for 41 years.  Alan and I went out for a meal and then onto the cinema to watch Dad's Army really enjoyed it.

We are now half way through our challenge of anything goes over at Our Crafty Corner so you still have time to enter if you haven't already.

Below is a picture of our new Great Granddaughter Darcy Rose she weighed in at 61b 4oz and is
so dinky and cute had loads of cuddles

Darcy Rose and her Great Granddad who looks petrified and is lol

Darcy Rose and her Great Aunt Sarah

Mummy and Daddy with Step Brother Jackson

Well that's it for tonight I will be back tomorrow to look at all your lovely makes but I really must get some dinner ready for the both of us as it is now nearly 7.30 pm and we have still not eaten since around 12 noon today so feeling a bit hungry.

Loads of love to all

Alison xx
