Brother Scan N Cut

Good Afternoon to all

Sorry for not blogging but I have been rather poorly and busy.  Firstly thank you for all your good wishes, I had positive results so no cancer of the bowel which was such a relief.  I have had the scan on my brain and although they found one they are not sure if its working or not still waiting for my next appointment with the specialist for the results.

I am not sure if any of my UK friends will be interested but I am selling my Brother Scan N Cut CM300 with lots of extra's for £300.00 + postage it comes with  Pens, Pen holder erasable pens spare blades plus deep cut blade, Deep blade holder,  4 mats 2 standard, 1 low tack, 1 scanning.  Dust cover and tools are with it as well. I am also selling with it my sure cuts a lot cd and a scan n cut project cd which is unopened.  The machine has only been used twice so if anyone interested please contact me.

We had friends staying with us so had to prepare for them which meant spending lots of money on Sarah's spare bedroom which needed new furniture and bedding as she only had an old bed in there which had a hole in it but it now looks lovely.

Carol I am sorry I have still not sent your goodies but with Alan retiring we are a bit short of money until they sort out his pension which seems to be taking forever and as soon as its sorted will send you your goodies.

Hope you are all keeping well and I promise I will start making again and sharing my makes with you.

Love to all

Hello again and a winner

Morning everybody Hope you are all keeping well. I am sorry for not doing my giveaway on time but things have been a bit hectic as I am being tested for Bowel Cancer and as you can guess everything else is taking a back burner. I am sorry for taking so long re the giveaway . I have decided to try and keep my blog going although commenting may be a bit hit and miss. I was busy last week trying to get sorted for the Annual Cornwood Show and frantically making cards, and other things to sell. I am also going to enter the Crafter's Companion Design Call so had best get busy lol. My first entry is called a cascade of flowers I have used the heartfelt creations die and stamp sets to make the flowers and coloured using cosmic cloud dyes called nearly naked. and the darker flowers are coloured using my spectrum noir sparkle pens.

My first card I am sending to Crafters Companion Die'sire Snowflake create a card die and I fell in love with this the moment I saw it.

My second card is made using Heartfelt Creations Cascading Fuchsia stamp and die set I also used Die'sire Embossing Folder EF8 Flower,  Heartfelt Creations Ornate Oval die and Sue Wilson Orange Blossom leaves stamp and die set.

Last but not least my box is made using again the Die'sire embossing folder on the bottom and the top is die cut using a Sue Wilson Die and the flower is hand made.  The box is to hold my handmade truffles

Just hope my creations are good enough for the DT call if not will keep trying.

Anyway onto the goodies we have a winner and it is you Carol Gill, If you could email me your address I will get the goodies off to you as soon as possible.

Love to all for now

Another beautiful day

Morning all

Hope everybody is having some sunshine as we really need it to top up in Vitamin C lol.

Bella has been taken for a run by Alan I am not able to go as they go down to the common and as it has lumps and bumps I don't always see them and tend to fall over.  When they get back Alan and I are going food shopping need him to do the lifting and shifting.

I have another mermaid card to share with you, showcasing my new corner die and my new seahorse dies, which I then glittered before putting onto the card.

Happy bank holiday weekend to everybody, enjoy the sunshine and the lovely long break.

Lovely Afternoon

Hello everybody

I have had a lovely afternoon as I spent it with my darling granddaughter Nicole and great granddaughter Darcy this was after I had some bad news my eye sight in my left eye has seriously deteriorated to the point that when you cover my right eye I cannot see very much at all out of my left  and the right eye has developed a cataract.  I am going to have to have some new glasses which is going to cost around £250 - £300.00, hopefully this will not affect my crafting too much.

Darcy flirting with Nanny before her bath

Darcy in her Alice in Wonderland Dress white rabbit

I made a card yesterday using a sketch I found from Lili of the Valley, sorry I did not get around to commenting on all your lovely makes yesterday but Sarah stayed for dinner and then did not leave until nearly bedtime, hopefully I will be able to get out here properly to do some commenting after dinner tonight.

Sorry the picture is a bit faint but the light in my craft room is not good as the sun is shining directly onto the area where I take the photo's of my cards.  I used green glitter on her tail to make it stand out

Bye for now

Pretty in blue

Afternoon Everybody

I am waiting for Sarah our darling daughter to come over so we can have a play together, I want to go to the Range and get some oil cloth to make a table cloth for the kitchen as I am fed up of washing the cotton one's I made, at least with oil cloth you only need to wipe them down.

I have sorted some drawer space out by making boxes and then putting flowers in them by separating the colours so I can see what I have in stock.   As you can see I have loads of white and pink flowers so think I need to buy some other colours.

Drawer 1

Drawer 2

Drawer 3

The card I have made today is pretty in blue I die cut the swirls, leaves and butterfly along with the edges of the card which I distressed, the papers came from one of the Crafter's Companion CD's which I use a lot to get my background papers cheaper than buying them.  The flowers are from The Ribbon Girl and there we have it.

Will pop by shortly to comment on your wonderful makes.

Bye for now
