Not a straight line in sight

 Afternoon everyone

Hope you are all keeping well.   Thank you for all your wonderful comments on my quilt and other bits and bobs.

I have made another Christmas card today and could not cut a straight line to save my life, the amount of paper wasted could not say.

The image is a stamp from Woodware which I bought at Westpoint, Exeter in September, so here is my wonky card lol

I am in the middle of painting the frame for the calor gas fire that Alan has built its had three coats of paint so far, hopefully that is enough, looking for screws now to fit the top and base on.  Will post picture when complete.

Another quilt

 Morning all

Today I am highlighting a quilt which took 2 years in the making it’s a kingsize quilt for my bed

I am in the process of making Sarah a quilt for her bed it’s an Irish Chain pattern and am having to do it in sections as it’s huge.   I will post again later with the cards I started making yesterday.

Bye for now

No Layers

Well another card today go me lol.   I would like to enter this card into the Following challenge blog

https://alphabetchallengeblog.blogspot.com/

This little cutie comes from Pink Gems which I bought years ago and as I love owls thought I would use it for this challenge.

Alan and I have had a busy day today, went to buy wood as we are building a fire surround to house our calor gas fire as the only heating we have is storage heaters and by 4 o’clock in the afternoon the heat has left them, so we bought a calor gas fire but it’s an eyesore so decided to sort it out, we only have electric in the village so this is the best way we have of keeping warm.  Will post pictures when finished.

Am finishing off now

Catch you all again soon

Christmas Cards

I bet by the time we get to Christmas will be sick of the sight of Christmas Cards (nah not really lol).  I love Christmas.  Have a couple of cards to show you today  the first one I made a couple of years ago and found it half finished in my stack of cards.  The rest I made over the last few days but finished them yesterday afternoon.

Well that’s it for now have to rush this morning as we have to be out the door by 10ish but will be back to show you more Christmas cards tomorrow

Hungover Hannah

 Evening all

Made a card for our youngest daughter Sarah’s friend Carole Anne who is visiting us here in Devon from London.  It’s her birthday tomorrow so I quickly made a card for her using Dr Digi’s Hungover Hannah image and coloured using Crafters Companion Triblend pen.   My colouring leaves a lot to be desired but as they say practice makes perfect (although maybe not in my case lol).   Papers are from my stash.

So here is my masterpiece lol

I have also been making some Christmas cards and will post them when I have finished them off.

Bye for now Alison x
