AWOL Again

Dear All

Just a quick post to say sorry for being AWOL yet again, I have been bad all week with serious back ache and my fibromyalgia flaring up so have not been able to do very much at the computer, mainly been resting and watching TV this week.

I have no card to show you today but just wanted to say I am still around and will catch up as soon as I am able.

Morning All

Yippeee it's Saturday

Not that it makes much difference to me just another day as I don't work anymore.  Alan is only working half day today thank goodness he looks so tired so hopefully he will rest whilst I am at Rachel's this afternoon having a spot of crafting and catch up over a good cuppa nothing can beat that.  One happy little crafter me be.

The sun is shining but don't suppose that is going to last long.  So wellies at the ready.   I have been up making boxes for my soap on my cameo this morning have just made a batch of Bergamot & Patchouli, the next batch will be plain Lavender.

Thought I would share this photo of Alan and I when we were very much younger and not so grey lol.  Think this was taken in 1988/89 not quite sure.  This was taken at one of the formal dinner's we used to attend and I made the dress I am wearing it is in Taffeta and took 3 days to make.

Well that's it for me for now will do a bit more blog hopping later today when I get home from Rachel's

So Sorry

Sorry for being AWOL all week, had a hospital appointment on Tuesday and they poked and prodded so woke up Wednesday hardly able to move lots of pain, but getting better again now.  Thank god for being able to schedule posts.

I can't believe that tomorrow Alan and I have been married for 39 years Wow, and we've not done any serious damage to each other either lol.  Bless don't know where I would be without him.

Well today I am going to showcase a card that I have made and it's not for DT work, have had this cut out ready to play with for ages but not got around to using it until now.    I have used my BeBunni CD from Crafter's Companion, Gems from stock as is the ribbon.

Am off to do a bit of blog hopping and then catch up on some DT work that I have outstanding

Time for another challenge over at Oldie but a Goodie

Morning Everybody well it's another challenge from Oldie but a Goodie and our theme this fortnight is Valentine and of course I had to use one of Lacy Sunshine digi stamps, I decided not to go down the route of using the usual colours for Valentine but wanted to make something a little different.

The background Mat is cut out using my silhouette the bow swirl is a memory box die, be mine is part of a set I have had for ages can't even remember where I got them from, flowers and ribbon from stash.

Why not pop along and see what the rest of the wonderful Design Team have come up with they are such a talented bunch you will not be disappointed.

Fantasy Stampers Challenge #3 Love and Cherish

Wow we are on Challenge number 3 already at Fantasy Stampers now ladies/gents here is a quick rule that some peeps are forgetting this is a Stamp Challenge that means no digi images at all, OK that's over lets get on to the challenge

We were set the theme of Love and Cherish, well that's hard for me as I don't do love and Cherish very well, so I found this particular challenge theme rather difficult as my hubby is the same no romance between us so as we have a couple of weddings coming up in the family soon, I decided I would make a wedding card and of course had to use my LOTV stamps for this one too.  So here is what I came up with

I used papermania capsule backing papers, prisma flowers and ribbon and gems from stash as said above stamp is from LOTV coloured in with PrismaPencils and used the online image as a guide to colour as I am useless at picking my own. lol.
