New Challenge over at Open-Minded Crafting Fun

Morning Everybody

Just a quick post this morning as we are off to Bristol to pick up a greeting card stand that I can use at my craft fairs and will save me room on my table as it is a floor revolving one bought through Ebay, what did we do before Ebay can anyone remember?

Well today's Challenge over at Open-Minded Crafting Fun  this fortnight is Patriotic Colours, we have lots of sponsors so why not check the site out and see who are sponsors are and of course if you enter and win you will be getting a fantastic prize.

Here is my card

I used my spectrum noir pens for colouring the flowers and beads are from my stash and the ribbon I think I bought from the Ribbon Girl but I'm not sure.

As I said this is a very short post today as I have to get showered and dressed before 8am and as its 7.30 as I am typing this need to move my butt.

Hope you are all keeping well hugs to those that need one.  I promise I will get around to catching up with you all soon, but sitting at the computer desk is a killer on my back and I can only sit here for short periods.  This post is scheduled so by the time it gets to my blog I will be on my way to Bristol.

Loads of love for now

I am still alive - Warning Very Picture Heavy

Morning All

Not dead just missing in action again but slowly on the mend.  I have managed to do some crafting on the odd day or two but nothing much.

The decorating is all finished now thank goodness and here are a few pics

This is a picture of the main wall with the fireplace and mirror and my gorgeous new wallpaper

New Ceiling Light

Hearth with my little wooden duck bought at a craft fair

Left Hand Corner on main wall

Candle I made

New Cushions I made

My Beautiful New Lamp

Lamp when turned on

Right Hand Corner on main wall, the lamp in the corner is made from cut glass crystal  and was a wedding present nearly 40 years ago but the shade was the wrong colour so used my spectrum noir pens on the shade to achieve the right colour rather than buying a new one.

Now on to the crafty bits that I have been doing, lots of sewing and again picture heavy.

I have more made up but have not taken photo's of them yet will try and get on to that later today and post it on the blog tomorrow all being well.

I will pop by shortly to do a bit of blog hopping and try and do a bit of catching up but sorry if I miss anyone out as I am only going back 1 day and then carrying on as normal tomorrow.

Love to All

New Challenge over at Oldie But A Goodie

Morning Everybody, I am late posting this today as I was up until 4am this morning roaming the house as I was in quite a lot of pain and managed to doze off around 5am.

Well we have a new challenge over at OBAG and this fortnight's theme is Father's Day/Masculine.  I have chosen a very simple card to make as did not want to overload it with embellishments.

I am sorry I have not been around very much lately but I promise I will as soon as I can start commenting on your lovely blogs.

Why not pop over to OBAG and see what the rest of the team have been up to there are some beautiful cards to give you inspiration.

Love to all

New Challenge over at Oldie But A Goodie

Hi All just thought I would let you know that we have a new challenge this fortnight over at OBAG and the theme is Filigree and this is what I came up with

I used my die cut and made a hinged card and then just added layers, its a shame as you cannot see the colours of the butterfly properly here but I did it in a lovely bright yellow so obviously against the blue die cut frame it looks green on the photo.    Got to admit this challenge didn't go down well with me, I don't like the card and had to rack my brains to think of something I could make but Sarah's friend Liz loved it so much she bought it so it can't be that bad.

Why not pop along to OBAG and see what the rest of the team have designed and also enter into the challenge yourself.

I have a busy day ahead, going into Ivybridge to the bank, then on to KwikFit to get my tyres changed on the car and then going to B&Q to get some more paint as James the decorator is starting to paint the living room tomorrow and as I will have to stay home and make cups of tea for him I will catch up all day on the blogging I have missed out on over the last couple of days.

My craft fair went well, there was a festival on at Exmouth on Sunday so lots of people about the other traders were a lovely bunch some of them I had met before, only made a small profit of around £50.00 but it was better than a loss.  I only have two craft fairs booked in for June, but have booked to go to Exmouth in July, September, October, November and December and am also going to book into our local Garden Centre up until Christmas as well.  Could not book August as we have the Cornwood Show then and I need to be there although I will only be sitting in the Secretary's tent, giving people who come in leaflets and any information, also lost children, and anything else that crops up, I am hoping that Sarah's friend Liz will do my table for me on the day as Sarah is helping out with the pet and poultry show.  Anyway I best go now as I need to have my breakfast and get washed and dressed.

Love to all

I decided to use one of my own images from Digital Delights and his name is Sparky and he is so cute, used my spectrum noir pens to colour him and my castle die cut (can't remember where from now) and used some frantage in shabby white to add some sparkle.

Will pop by your blogs later today but have a few things I need to get done as I have a craft fair to attend tomorrow.

AWOL yet again

Morning everybody sorry I have been out of action for a little while have been plagued by my Fibromyalgia massive flair up still not completely right but am getting there.

We are having the decorators in today to wallpaper one wall of the living room and then next week the painters will be here to paint the three living room walls and the hallway including around 8 doors that need glossing have decided to go for an acrylic satin white on the doors and frames as Alan is allergic to gloss paint suffers severe migraines from the fumes that it gives off.

I was asked if I could make a horseshoe for my neighbours granddaughter who is getting married the first week of June and this is what I came up with

I used my silhouette cameo to cut the horseshoe out and also the leaves I then decorated it with flowers I ordered from a girl on facebook who has a page called Petal Lu they are so pretty and are made out of tissue paper and the spiral's were from the Ribbon Girl.

I have another craft fair again this weekend in Exmouth which is quite a drive from here but Alan is coming with me and Sarah is staying home to look after Bella as Sarah's friend is coming from London for the long weekend.

Hope you all have a great bank holiday weekend will pop along shortly to check out your blogs but I will only be commenting on today's blog as I have been absent for too long to even think about catching up where I left off will be here until midnight else.

Love to all
