How Long Does it take you

Afternoon All

Does anybody find it a chore these days to prove that you are not a robot and have  been trying to comment since around 14.30 today and have only just finished its 16.57.

I am out at a meeting this evening around 19.30 so need to get the dinner ready shortly, am doing lamb roast with lovely mint sauce.

My main computer is playing up something terrible so am typing this on the laptop but will have to go to the big computer to put any images of cards I want on my blog as nothing is stored on my laptop as yet as its fairly new.

The weather has been gorgeous the last couple of day so Bella and I walked to the village today to register our vote so had a lovely walk.

Enough moaning and groaning here is a card I made a couple of days ago and forgot to post it not sure why probably with all the fair in the square stuff going on I missed it.

Well that's about it from me today.  Best go and start the dinner.

Love to all

I am late yet again

Good Afternoon Everybody

We have a new Challenge over at Our Crafty Corner and the theme is anything goes our sponsor this month is the delightful

Karleigh Sue Digi Store

I wanted to challenge myself a bit so made a pyramid shaped card which I have only tried once before.

Why not pop over to Our Crafty Corner Blog to check out the rest of the design team's work it is gorgeous.

On another note our Fair in the Square was a bit of a washout with all the rain as most of the stalls are outside only a couple go into the village hall and I was one of the lucky ones thank goodness.  It seemed slightly disorganised this year for some reason but after paying for my table I came away with £50.00 which is way down on what I have taken previously.

Our sweet daughter Sarah came over to help me before going off to do her shopping and then Alan helped me pack up at the end of the day.  Today my hands, feet, back and knees are very sore so am having a bit of a restful day.

We have a Parish Council Meeting tonight which  as its the AGM as well as the normal monthly meeting and as I am standing as Parish Councillor again this year I suppose I best attend even though I feel more like tucking myself into bed.

Well will check out your lovely blogs again shortly.

Bye for now.

Evening All

Hope you are all not too damp from the rain, its been dreadful here today, very fine rain which just makes you feel miserable.

Had a bit of a lie in bed today got up around 8.30am, after Alan had brought me breakfast in bed which he does every morning when he is not working bless him I am so spoilt really.

We then went to Liskeard to look at some sheds as we need a bigger one so that my wheel chair will fit in as at the moment is stored in my craft room and I have to move it every time I want to get to the shelves behind the door.

Had some lunch and then packed the car up ready for taking all my goodies to the village hall to set up ready for tomorrow, will take a photo so that you can see all my goodies in their glory.

Alan cooked dinner tonight it was yummy flat mushrooms filled with sausagemeat & garlic butter, served with salad.

Our eldest daughter (Pauline) who as those of you have been following me for a long time know that we have a love-hate relationship, I love her and she hates me put a photo of herself on facebook (she won't let me take any pictures of her) so managed to copy this one I think she is beautiful, its a shame that she cuts me out of her life the way she does but I have stopped worrying myself to bits over it.

Anyway onto the card I made for today's post

am off now to check out all your lovely work.

Bye for now

Evening all

I have had a real busy day putting inserts into the cards I have made and putting them into cello bags ready for Monday nearly there now but last night my back, hands, fingers were all throbbing as I am having a massive flare up of my arthritis so hardly any sleep last night.

Alan is on backshift today so that means he starts work at 2pm until 10pm it takes about 45 minutes for him to get home so I will be tucked up in bed by the time he gets home.

I have made some cards today and here is one of them hope you like it.

the verse inside says Like you he is at an age when he can't remember, happy birthday

Well I will pop by shortly to see what you have all been up to.

Why can't I find things

Afternoon all

Why can't I find things, I have sorted the craft room out and put everything away labelled so you think I would be able to find things but no, lost the plates to my spellbinders Sapphire so I spent a good couple of hours trying to find them guess what they were with my embossing folders that I looked through twice.

Sorry not been around much the past couple of days but I have floaters in my left eye which are squiggly lines in my peripheral vision, I also have some black ones in the middle of the eye and I keep thinking I have a spider in my hair and try and brush them out with my hand lol, it is very annoying now been like it for a fortnight so a trip to the opticians me think although there is not a lot they can do it should just go on its own.

I have so far made 34 bath bombs very time consuming, all my candles are re-perfumed and sugar scrubs, body cream and soap all labelled, so only have my card inserts to do now which I will do tomorrow then I have to iron the bits and bobs I have made sewing wise and then pack the car up ready for me to set up Sunday evening lets hope the weather stays half way decent.

My card today is a girly card it is from the LOTV Art Pads which I believe they are not doing any more have not been on their site for a while as I have so much stuff that I must use it before getting more in or so that's what I keep telling myself.

Well whilst I have five minutes to myself am going to pop along and do some commenting.

Love to All

Afternoon All

Sorry I have not blogged since Tuesday but I am busily trying to get ready for the Fair in the Square which is being held on Monday 2nd May and as per usual I have left everything to the last minute panic stations ahead.

I have made some bath bombs, nourishing body cream and foaming sugar scrubs along with my soaps, candles and cards, plus a side table selling my knitting, crochet and sewing items.  As I can only make the bath bombs five at a time its a long old slog really should buy more moulds but then I only make these a couple of times a year.

I managed to make another card whilst waiting for the bath bombs to do their thing and this is what I came up with

I have had these toppers for ages and never got around to using them so thought a few quick cards just got to put inserts in now and they are finished and all ready for Monday.

Will pop by your blogs shortly.

Love Alison
