Had a lovely morning

Hello to everybody

I have had such a lovely time this morning, I met up with my darling granddaughter Nicole and our latest edition to the family the gorgeous Darcy Rose, Nicole rang me this morning asking if I wanted to meet up with her and of course I jumped at the chance to see them both.

Didn't do anything much just a bit of shopping but it was nice to have time out with each other as I have not seen her for a couple of weeks now and Darcy is growing so much.  I need to get the knitting needles out again.

I took some photo's of Darcy who is now 10 weeks old and is adorable.

Darcy smiling at mummy

I was singing Darcy a song here and she was smiling away

Darcy telling her Great Nan (me) a story

Darcy with her beautiful mum Nicole which Nicole sent to me on her phone as she would not let me take a photo of her and Darcy together this morning spoilsport lol x

Anyway as I have not made a card just thought I would show you pictures of two of our beautiful girls just need the other one (Jessica) to let me take a photo of her.

Speak soon.

A late posting for me today

Its been a funny old day really the weather although not raining was a bit dull and the wind has been awful.   I did not get out of bed until around 9am this morning and that was only because the postman delivered my stuff that I ordered from Ikea some more storage boxes (for all those stamps I found) I then had to take them into the craft room and sort them out with what I wanted in them and where to put them so that took me until around 10am.

The bed needed changing so sorted that out, hoovered through, went with a friend to the garden centre and onto Lidl, then came home sat had some lunch and fell asleep for an hour was going to do some crafting but the time got away with me so have not made anything today but I did make this yesterday

Microwave Bowl Holder

You place the bowl with holder into the microwave and this stops you burning your fingers/hands getting any hot stuff out of the microwave

Inside with bowl

Inside without bowl

Outside with Bowl

I am going to be selling these at the Fair in the Square but am not sure how much to charge for them anyone any ideas.  Please

Anyway I have caught up so far with your lovely blogs and am off to cook the dinner.  Chicken Curry tonight.   I hope you are all keeping well and will catch up with you again tomorrow.

Another Sunny Day

Morning Everyone

Am up early today as it is coffee stop in the village and I also needed to take a pair of trousers up for a friend and will give them back to her this morning.

I have made another card am on a roll lol, again for the Fair in the Square on the 2nd May but really need to get some bath bombs made and some more foaming sugar scrubs now that my delivery from the Soap Kitchen has arrived.

Went over to Sarah's place last night as Alan helped her load her old settee's so that she could take them to the tip, her new suite is so comfortable could have fell asleep in the chair, the Chippy near Sarah's is I think the best in Plymouth so we had fish and chips for tea which made a change as we don't have a chippy near us.

Don't forget that I am having a Crafty Give Away on my post below this so do add your name if you fancy a go.

Well without further ado here is the card I made yesterday

Will catch up with everybody later today but for now I must go and get a shower and dressed before 10am but porridge first me thinks.

Love to all

Oh No Not More Stamps

Hi all

Had a knit and natter group today and as I did not follow the pattern correctly and as it is a pair of socks will have to undo the whole lot, practice makes perfect so they say.

I have been putting all my unmounted stamps onto the Ezee Mount from Joanna Sheen and cutting it out is making my hands rather sore and so I now have another load of stamps to sort and am finding quite a few doubles.

I still need to learn how to do the link so that people can add their names to the bottom of the post for my giveaway so will have to play with my blog for a while.

I had to go to our nearest Pets at Home this morning which is around 15 miles from where we live as our Darling Bella broke her lead yesterday which is now the 5th one to be replaced so on average we are going through one a year.

After I told her off this is what she did

Hid her head under her blanket

I have made another two cards today and I hope you like them, will catch up with everybody's blog later on as I really do need to get these stamps sorted am fed up of sorting them now just want to play with all the goodies I have found when sorting out.

Well I'm off just now speak soon.

Afternoon Everybody

Have had a busy morning, went into Cornwall to Kernow Mill and bought myself a lovely new handbag and a pair of shoes, then came home and have cut material out for some makes which I will show when finished these are for the Cornwood Fair in the Square which is on the 2nd May.

I have nearly finished sorting my stamps out and for someone who thought she did not have many has over 200.  I am waiting for some more storage boxes from Ikea and then we are completely finished the craft room and then will be buying a shed for the garden for my wheelchair and Alan's tools

I then made a couple of cards which are below and am going to comment before getting dinner ready, so not as photo heavy like yesterday lol x

These cards are made using the Rachelle Anne Miller CD and I have just matted and layered them to give them some substance added a bit of bling and butterfly they made fairly quick cards

Am signing off just now and will be popping along to your wonderful blogs soon.
