This is going to be a quick post as we are off out to dinner tonight our eldest granddaughter is 22 on the 17th November but her boyfriend is taking her to Disney Paris so she will not be around first time ever for her big day, so our daughter Pauline is putting on a bit of a tea for her as a surprise. I am taking her card and present with us as I have got her some Euro's to take with her.
Did not notice I have two new top 3 spots on my blog one for Scribble and Scrap and another for Wednesday's Creative Inspirations Challenge I will get the top spot one day lol.
Toby got out today and went on walkabout for around 30 minutes but he came back thank goodness with a bit of coaxing with his treats and then this afternoon when I went to get the washing in he was out the door so quick and this time disappeared for about an hour but he came back eventually. I have been trying to train him to use the cat flap can you picture this me and Bella on one side of the cat flap and Toby on the other me trying to bend and coax Toby with a treat and opening the cat flap for him to come through and Bella get all excited and barking dancing around and trying to get her head in the cat flap nearly wet myself laughing. Toby is obviously not the brightest page in the book bless him, but at least I know he can get himself home if he gets out again before learning how to use the cat flap.
Our bathroom is nearly but not quite finished, the curtains needed taking up as the sink although smaller than our last one is higher so the curtains were over the taps so the hem had to go up. I had to buy a new linen basket as the old one was too large to fit in and in the corner some storage baskets but need another one of these so am off to Argos before going to Pauline's to pick one up.
Alan had to put his drill on charge as the walls are so thick and hard that you cannot just put pictures or anything up with picture hooks it has to be drilled as the tacks just bend otherwise. So the shelving will go up tonight or tomorrow not sure yet depends how Mr Grumpy is when he gets in from work. I am so impatient I just want it finished now.
The card I have made today is my first ever attempt at a Criss Cross Card and am entering this into the Besties Challenge - Lots of Layers, I have wanted to make one of these cards for ages but with one thing and another have just not settled enough to make one so this week I was determined, don't think it has turned out too bad.
Well that's it for now will be back shortly to do a bit of blog hopping before we go out for tea.
Love to all
Alison xx
