New Monthly Challenge over at A Place to Start

 Afternoon all

I made a bit of a boob of myself by putting my two design team blogs together rush of something to the old brain cells me thinks.

so here is my Challenge Card for A Place to Start where the theme this month is anything goes with the option of two by two and here is the card that I came up with

I will be by later on to check out all your wonderful blogs but I need to get my list ready for the old age pensioner luncheon club that I run every fortnight, so lots of phoning around as the oldies forget to contact me if they are not coming.  I am also trying to make a flyer for our Easter Big Breakfast in the village Hall will try and put a photo of it on the blog once I have done.

Just a quick post

 Morning all

Just a short post today as I am off out with Sarah, going to Lifton Farm Shop near Launceston part of my birthday treat.

I went to the hairdressers yesterday and was thinking of dyeing my hair but decided to stick with the grey more salt and pepper really.  I will catch up with everybody later today so keep warm dry and safe

Sad day

 Afternoon Everybody

Sorry its been so long since I posted yet again but have been really busy with family.  It was my birthday yesterday so had a lovely day, Alan took me out for lunch and then Sarah came over after work with cake lol.   

It is a sad month for me as I have had to give up a couple of my Design Team Spots, Polkadoodles Gem of a Craft Challenge and Allsorts Weekly Challenge Blog.   Due to other commitments I was not able to keep up with the commenting and was finding it difficult so after much discussion and deliberation decided for my health and the teams it was best that I resigned.

I have made a card which I would like to showcase, I think I told you all that I was buying a Gelli Plate so have had a bit of a play think I need to keep watching YouTube demo's as I don't think I have it quite right yet but here is a card I came up with, used the Gelli Plate to create the background and stamped the flower.  I really need more practice.

I am out this afternoon and early evening at Sarah's so will try and comment on everybody's blogs tonight when I get home.

Allsorts Challenge week 665

Morning everybody

We have a new Challenge at Allsorts Challenge blog this week the theme is hand coloured or paper pieced

We aim to comment on all entires at least once, usually more…but not all DT’s have access to third party hosts such as as Pinterest, Splitcoast, Flickr and Facebook so will be unable to leave a comment. Busy busy day and a house mouse

 Well I never got around to playing with my new Gelli Plate, it was coffee stop this morning to which I take the oldies, came home around 12ish had to set up the new router for the internet as my old one stopped playing lol.  Then time for a sit down and coffee for 1/2 hour before commenting on some blogs both personal and for the design teams, finished a card then started dinner.

I made this card a couple of weeks ago but forgot to post it, it was a commissioned card, picture not great as camera was on the blink

Will be busy most of the day tomorrow as it’s the old age pensioners lunch club which I run, I then have to go into Plymouth for slimming world class, but will try and catch up with everybody on Friday

Evening Everybody

 

 I wanted to say sorry for not being around so much and commenting on everybody’s blogs, I just seem to run out of hours these days.  So once again sorry for not commenting on your fantastic makes.

I am lying in bed next to hubby who is snoring his head off but I know if I turn that telly off he will wake up and say I was watching that lol.   I have bought a Gelli Plate and some paints which hopefully I will be able to play with over the next few days wanted to try something different.  

I am showcasing a Mother’s Day card I have made hope you like it

Will pop by tomorrow afternoon to do some commenting on your lovely blogs as my iPad plays up when I try to comment on some blogs not sure why

Birthday card for Darcy

 Had a lovely day yesterday, thank you to everybody who wished us Happy Anniversary yesterday.  Today it’s our Great Granddaughter Darcy’s 6th Birthday and what a cutie she is but then I am biased

Commissioned Card

 It’s our 47th Wedding Anniversary today we are celebrating by going out for a lunch time picnic and a lovely walk with our Jack Russell Bella then in the evening going out for a meal.

I was asked to make a card for a friend whose hubby is an avid stamp collector and thanks to my Design team buddies this is what I managed to come up with.  Please forgive the slightly out of focus photo but for some reason my camera is playing up will have to investigate.

A place to start monthly challenge

 Another week gone by, time flows so quickly it seems the older you get, how I managed to work and keep a home and family I do not know as now I have retired there is not enough hours in the day.

Valentine whimsy

 Good morning all.  I have some good news, I am now on the design team for Avenue 613 create which is a monthly challenge blog.  This month the Challenge is Anything Goes with optional theme of Valentine Whimsy. So why not pop along and join in.

My card is made with an image from Dr Digi and is called made for each other.  Background papers were made myself using Lindy’s magicals  drop dead diva, I really must get these in different colours.

New Challenge over at Polkadoodles Gem of a Craft Challenge

 Good Morning everybody

A New Challenge at Polkadoodles Gem of a Craft Challenge

 Morning everybody

Its a new challenge day today over at Gem of a Craft Challenge  and this week the theme is Winter Birthday and use more than 2 of something.  For this fortnight's challenge I used PDDB7  Pansy in the Darling Buds range, they are stunning.  I used flowers from stash along with papers also from the Polkadoodles range.

I noticed that I have a few new followers so welcome and thank you for following me.  

I have been playing around with the settings on my camera which is old pentax SR 12 megapixals as my photo's are not coming out very well so if anyone know anything about this camera and can point me in the right direction that would be great.

Sorry I have not been around very much but my fibromyalgia has been playing up badly since Christmas I guess I just did too much and everything caught up with me but back on an even keel again now so hopefully blogging and commenting will take place once again.

Fibromyalgia

 Dear All

I am sorry not been around much but think I may have done too much on the lead up and during Christmas as I have had a major flare up of my fibromyalgia, after resting up for a couple of weeks I am now back on an even keel

As most of you know my daughter takes my cards to work to sell and she asked for some leaving cards well here is the first one, kept it pretty simple but hope you like it.

Its a Little late

 Afternoon everybody

I am sorry not posted for ages but have been really busy with Luncheon Club and then Christmas but I want to wish Happy New Year to all friends and family that visit my blog.
