Busy Day

 Evening all

It’s been another very busy day, had to go shopping first thing this morning to get change and the raffle prizes for the pensioners luncheon club which I run every fortnight on a Thursday, today we had service for 33 people, think they enjoyed themselves.  Had to be sorted for sit down 1pm didn’t get hone until nearly 4pm.

Thank you for your lovely comments about the chair they are very much appreciated.  Todays card is a sympathy card, I find these very difficult to make but this one is layered took ages to cut around but gives a delicate touch to the card.

 Afternoon everybody

It’s very cold outside even though the sun is shining.  I collected an old chair from Sarah on Sunday the fabric was shredded by her cat and the cushioned seat was non existing so today I got to play and here is the finished result, I used scrap fabric that I had left from other projects 

Todays card is another male card hope you like it

All dressed up

Afternoon everybody

I am showcasing another polkadoodles image fairly plain card for me not sure I like it.

Well all 20 cards are made and delivered it took me around six hours will not be doing it that way again my neck and shoulders are throbbing today after being hunched over the desk licking and sticking.

Only 3 more days until I can tell you my secret (sshhhh).  Will do some commenting when I finish sorting dinner out we are having home made stuffed meatballs in a homemade sticky bbq sauce in spaghetti and covered in melted cheese.

Busy Morning

 Hi Everyone

Its been a busy morning here in the Jeatt household, sorting through paperwork which needs shredding some of it dating back to 1992 why do I keep stuff that long?     I have also made a cake to take to the sewing group this afternoon just a quick vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream.

I have nearly caught up on your blogs after being absent for a couple of days.  I have decided I need to make cards out of my comfort zone but am not sure where to begin, I need to get into stencilling and stamping so am going to check out a few sites that's if they are still in business a lot of the card making suppliers I used to use have disappeared.  

I made up some male cards for Sarah to take into work, here is my first one, the elephant came from a Jayne Netley Mayhew CD which I have had for years hope you like it

I had a phone call tonight from the company that Sarah works for Plymouth Community Homes they are a housing association but also do new builds and a couple of weeks ago they asked if I would make new home cards when they sell their new builds of course I said yes and tonight they asked if I would make 20 cards.  I have made the first 15 and will finish the other 5 in the morning feeling pleased with myself.

An umbrella day

Evening all

Sorry not been around commenting on your posts but went out last night and these days it takes me a couple of hours to look anything near human lol.  Went to a spiritualist evening with a friend never attended one before as it’s not really my thing but it was fun not that I had anyone from the other side visit or want to talk to me thank goodness.

Then today we went to Sarah’s to measure up the size of table she wants her dad to make for her kitchen.  I made a card before we went it’s another digi image from Polkadoodles the backing paper is one I made myself using Lindy’s Magicals. I then added a few flowers and sentiments

 Alan is lying next to me in bed snoring his head off whilst I type this gonna poke him in a minute either that or put the pillow over his head lol.   Well that’s it from the Jeatt household if you don’t hear from me it will be because I’m in prison after getting an all male jury but if you do hear from me it’s because I got an all female jury and they understand the trial and tribulations of 47 years of marriage lol.

A dismal day,

 Morning all

It’s been raining heavily all night and it’s now 07.51 and it’s so dark outside.  I have just heard there have been two accidents on the A38 main road in and out of Plymouth, one going towards Plymouth and then the other coming out and it’s both  the junction we go onto the A38 and the other is just before the junction we need to come off to come home, some poor love has had their day have been ruined just hope it’s not too serious. 

Enough waffle todays card is made from an digi image from Polkadoodles I bought her pre coloured but will probably go back and order the translucent one.  The flower is from the heartfelt creations sunrise lilly stamp and die cut set, paper coloured with CC triblend pens and card from stash.

It’s Christmas again

 Evening all

Thought I would do a quick post before getting dinner.  We have finally put the shed/craft area put back together again after having a good sort out, how anyone can collect so much crap I don’t know.

My Christmas tree die that I ordered came today so think I will be getting a lot of use out of that.  We are going to Sarah’s tomorrow she wants her dad to make a table for her kitchen, so I will be taking all the cards I have made for her to take to work and sell, not that I ever see the money she collects lol.

Todays card is a digi image from Polkadoodles the trees is from an embellishment digi image also from polkadoodles which I printed in different sizes and cut around.
