Bored with Christmas Cards

 Afternoon all

Hoe you are well and welcome to my new followers.  I was getting bored with making Christmas cards and decided to play with a stencil I bought at the Exeter Show in September, I have hardly ever used stencils so this is a learning curve for me, but I love dandelions it reminds me of my eldest daughter who right into her 30’s believed that the seeds from dandelions were fairies lol.  For those that followed me years ago know that my daughter Pauline stopped speaking to me in 2003 when she got married although she did tolerate me at family gatherings, things came to a head about two years ago and now she has cut me out of her life altogether but life goes on.

So here is my card

I used Tim Holtz distress inks paper and card from stash.  I am off to cook dinner just now am making homemade beef burgers and sweet potato chips made in the actifry with homemade onion rings, corn on the cob with a garlic dip.

Another Bag and Christmas Card

 Hi All

As promised another card today, it’s been a funny old morning been a bit busy making another bag, this one is for me to put some of my sewing bits and bobs as I am running out of storage.

The card I have made is another woodware stamp bought in Exeter in September, I do love these stamps they stamp really well coloured these in with crafters companion triblend pens added a couple of snowflakes and gems to make the card pop.  Hope you like it.

Fire surround

 Morning all

Well the fire surround is finished, I have such a clever hubby even if I do spend most of my time thinking of ways to murder him without getting caught lol ( I do love him really).  So here is a picture

Not too bad a job and of course my paintwork is a dream ha ha.

Sarah came over for a birthday tea made her a veggie chilli and we had a meat one, she loved her sewing tote bag and is showing it on her Facebook page so will probably end up making more for her friends.

I will post later again today with another card so that’s it for now catch you later.

Not a straight line in sight

 Afternoon everyone

Hope you are all keeping well.   Thank you for all your wonderful comments on my quilt and other bits and bobs.

I have made another Christmas card today and could not cut a straight line to save my life, the amount of paper wasted could not say.

The image is a stamp from Woodware which I bought at Westpoint, Exeter in September, so here is my wonky card lol

I am in the middle of painting the frame for the calor gas fire that Alan has built its had three coats of paint so far, hopefully that is enough, looking for screws now to fit the top and base on.  Will post picture when complete.

No Layers

Well another card today go me lol.   I would like to enter this card into the Following challenge blog

https://alphabetchallengeblog.blogspot.com/

This little cutie comes from Pink Gems which I bought years ago and as I love owls thought I would use it for this challenge.

Alan and I have had a busy day today, went to buy wood as we are building a fire surround to house our calor gas fire as the only heating we have is storage heaters and by 4 o’clock in the afternoon the heat has left them, so we bought a calor gas fire but it’s an eyesore so decided to sort it out, we only have electric in the village so this is the best way we have of keeping warm.  Will post pictures when finished.

Am finishing off now

Catch you all again soon
