Christmas Wreath

 Afternoon everybody

I made a card for hubby's brother and his wife, I always try to make them a different type of card each year.  This year wanted to try something out of my comfort zone, this card took me two days to make.  Its a Christmas Wreath Card.  I used CC Florian Foam to make the flowers which I really enjoyed doing but my fingers were very inky for days lol.  

So here without further ado is the card.

Well for some reason my blog has decided I am French lol.  I have caught up with all your lovely blogs if I have missed anyone I apologise.

Caterwauling

 Morning everybody 

Busy day ahead Coffee Stop with the oldies this morning, then home for lunch then popping into town as I need some waistband interfacing for this evening then off to Sarah’s for dinner (having casserole tonight which I made yesterday). Then it’s off to sewing class.

Todays card is used by masking stamps, it took me three attempts before I was happy with this and as I have never done this before am happy as to how this turned out.

I had so much fun doing this will certainly do it again

Another Glitterart Card

 Morning all

Hope you are all keeping warm and well.  I have a fairly busy day today as it’s my sewing group in the village hall this afternoon so need to load the car up with ironing board and iron plus my project and sewing machine.  Also not forget the tea/coffee and homemade custard tarts.

I made another card creating a scene with two stencils and glitter paste yesterday so here it is now it’s dried

All working again

 Hi All

Thank goodness our electric and internet is all up and running again you don’t realise how much you need the internet until it’s not working.  Todays card is very simple using acetate and a snowflake die, as there was no electric to print anything lol.

Will be by later to see all your wonderful creations

Power cuts

 Hi all

It’s cold and windy here today, we had lots of power cuts through the night and then around 5.30am this morning power went off all together, we decided to buy a camping stove as we are all electric here, so no heating, no cooking and oh no, no kettle.  So off we went then had to turn around as a tree was down blocking the main way out of the village, then went past the cricket club only to have to turn around again as another tree down, so ended up going across the moors.

The electric came on around 3.30 this afternoon but we have no internet so I am unable to comment as I need the main computer am using my data on my tablet via the SIM card at the moment.  

Anyway enough of the moaning at least we don’t have snow lol. Todays card is made from some of the things I bought in Bath was fascinated by glitter art so thought I would give it a go and this is one of the cards I am making to send to family

The light is not very good sorry this was the best photo .  Will hopefully be able to comment tomorrow so will see you on the other side.

Poinsettia Card

 Evening everybody

Well I had a lovely day yesterday and bought a load of stash but too much to show, it took about two hours to drive from here to the show ground, left home around 07.30 am and arrived home around 6pm so a really long day, I went to bed after dinner around 7.30pm and slept right the way through until 7am this morning.

Had a fairly quiet day today, had to go to Hobby Craft this morning as I  needed a zip and some thread to make my skirt also bought some for Sarah too whilst I was there and of course walking around the shop picked more stuff up lol.

Anyway here is a card I made today using the Crafters Companion Poinsettia die I have put a bit of sparkle of the flowers plus the writing using of course CC sparkle pens and then added a pearl gem to make the cards pop.  I just have to do the insert for it.

Am just off to cook dinner just a quick and easy one tonight, gammon, egg, mushroom, chips and peas, this is one of Alan's favourite meals.

Just a quickie

 Morning all

Its just gone midnight and I thought I would do a quick post before I go to my bed.  went to sewing class with Sarah tonight, got home around 10pm should be in bed but have restless legs so am waiting for the tablets to kick in otherwise I will be twitching all night.

I will not be around now until either late tomorrow evening or Friday sometime as I am at the Craft4Crafter's show in Bath today leaving home at around 7.30 am and picking friends up on the way.
